People Power

It's been a good year here at Jackson EMC. Serving an increasingly fast-growing service area, we now provide power to nearly 196,000 meters, have sold 4.7 billion kWh of electricity, have a network of 70 substations and more than 12,600 miles of energized wire, while we've watched our system demand break 1,000 megawatts for the first time in our history.

Some things haven't changed. Our cooperative continues to provide reliable, economical power and quality customer service to our members, just as we've done for nearly 70 years. We're proud of that service, and the fact that the values that guided our cooperative in the beginning continue to guide us today. And yet, as we go about our day-to-day business we're providing our service in a changing energy landscape.
